I'm a Lush!

Literally.

I am obsessed with Lush products. I mean, thoroughly obsessed. Lush products make me so happy inside, and out. Four years ago, I was lured into a Lush Cosmetics boutique inside Orlando's airport and I have been a Lush convert ever since.

Lush stores are filled with delicious and natural soaps, bath bombs, hair products and facial masks galore. Every single one of their products is handmade. Don’t believe me? You’ll see when you buy anything that there’s a date and a cartoon of the person who made your stuff!Lush is definitely taking the beauty world by storm by offering products that are simply, lush, decadent and most importantly, fun. (i think i have a career in infomercials!)

If you’re not familiar with Lush Cosmetics, I strongly suggest you climb out of the rock you’ve been living under, put a ski mask on your poor mistreated skin, and find the nearest store to you. :) You will ♥ it!

Here are some of my favorite products.

Made with fresh lemons and lime juice, Daddy-O shampoo makes my hair shiny! If you are a blonde and have not tried this yet, you are missing out on the best thing ever! The shampoo has such a gorgeous fragrance of violets, bergamot and roses and it leaves my hair incredibly full and shiny. I get compliments on my hair all the time! People ask me what kind of shine spray I use, and the truth is, you don't need any after you use this product.

Lush has a plethora of great soaps, but my favorite is the Bohemian Soap. It smells like delicious lemons and the scent lingers all day long and blends great with my perfume. It also has a luxe lather and makes my skin super clean. I love it!

I am a huge fan of scrubs. And this is my favorite LUSH product and one I will buy again and again. This is nicknamed a tub of heaven taken straight from the ocean. I could not agree more.

The scrub smells delicious and it buffs off dead skin and gives me a great glow. This product will definitely leave you looking gorgeous!

Heeeey, how you doin'??

Hope all of my bloggy besties had a fun weekend. I'm exhausted today. We were busy busy Saturday and Sunday.

Kristi and Andy's wedding was so much fun. The day couldn't of been more beautiful. Kristi looked AMAZINGLY gorgeous. She could have easily snagged the cover of Bridal Magazine. She looked absolutely stunning. And Andy didn't look so bad himself, haha. I was busy being the dancing queen at the wedding that I didn't hardly take any pictures!!

(gasp.)

I am already looking forward to this coming up weekend!

And continuing on with our crazy/busy summer, we have a camping trip planned with a bunch of our friends to celebrate hubby's birthday! (which is next monday). I will divulge more details about the trip sometime this week.

Tonight is my friend+sorority sister Kristi's wedding. Her and Andy are the best couple. This wedding is special to me because Kristi is my sorority 'big sister' and we're very close. (sorry for all the sorority babble, haha.) I am so happy to see her marrying her soulmate! So happy for them. And as I look outside the weather is just gorgeous! It will be a great day.

Also, we're having lunch with my momma, sissy, dad and grandma tomorrow before heading back home. Looking forward to spending time with everyone. Yippie.

Who had an awesome weekend? I did! I did!

It's Monday night and I'm still wondering where our three day weekend went? But I guess time flies when you are having fun. And we had a blast in Michigan!

I really had the best time :) As a little boy, hubs used to spend most of his summers there, so it was so special to see all the places he used to go to as a child, and listen to him as he told me about his favorite memories. And I loved spending time with his family, especially his grandparents. They are such amazing people, and I enjoyed getting to know them better.

And let me just tell you, that the scenery in Michigan is breathtaking. It is a wonderland of beautiful lakes, pretty beaches and lush, stunning landscapes! And I still cannot believe that my whole life I have lived a relatively short drive from this state and have never been.

But what I can say is that we definitely will be going back!

Hello, Michigan.

This is where I will be spending the next 4 days. Not too shabby, huh?!

Michigan, here we come! Hubs, Charlie and I are heading to beautiful Silver Lake, MI this weekend for a family reunion and I could not be more excited.

We are staying three days with hubs grandparents, who I just love. And I know Grandma T reads my blog occasionally, so I want to give her a quick shout out! She is a great little lady, and is also pretty stylish and a great dancer. She definitely has moves we have never seen and her wardrobe is pretty fabby! And I know that since I love her and Grandpa T so much, I am bound to love the rest of the extended family I have yet to meet. One of the many cool things about marriage is that you gain a whole new family. And I definitely got lucky in this department :)

So since the reunion isn't until Saturday morning, hubs and I will basically have all day Friday and most of the day Saturday to hang out and explore. I have heard great things about the beautiful lake, and also the sand dunes! Although regardless of what my husbands says, I will not be riding 4-wheelers up and down mountain high sand dunes. Hello? Has he met me? I am pretty sure that I am the clumsiest, most accident-prone human being currently alive. {the rest are 8-feet under, and I refuse to join them.}

So, in the meantime while he is off partaking in dangerous activity, Charlie and I will be sticking to what we know how to do best: shopping and eating. (obvi) I have investigated and found some pretty cute restaurants and local shops I am dying to see. But one thing I know I definitely won't be buying is Michigan crap. Haha. Sorry, you don't stand a chance with this Buckeye fan.

So, needless to say we are revved up and ready to go! Even Charlie has his little doggie suitcase packed. I am really looking forward to a nice and relaxing weekend getaway with my boys and the fam.

i L.O.V.E August

Hello lovelies and hello August! (yes, i know it's been August for 4 days now, but I just wanted to say that, so play along :)

Ahh, well I am back in the swing of things and feeling fantastic! This weekend was fun. Hubs and I had a whirlwind of a weekend with our friends and it was great!

Friday we had Cassy and Jason's wedding! I really love seeing two people who love each other uncoditionally commit to spend the rest of their lives together. I am that girl who snuggles up next to her husband at wedding ceremonies, holds his hand and cries tears of joy. I am a hopeless romantic, and I love weddings. A part of me will be sad when the wedding season comes to an end. But there is always next summer, and I am already harassing subtly encouraging a few friends to start having babies ;)

Saturday hubs and I had date night! We ate at an amazing little restaurant called Little Athena. We had the best gyros. Not sure what the meat was seasoned with, but they were freakin' good. The whole meal was fab. We'd definitely go back again.

Sunday- we did absolutely nothing (for a change). The rain made it impossible to get out of bed. I watched Lifetime and played with Charlie, that's about it. Around 6 I was getting antsy, so we did three hours a little bit of shopping.

That was our weekend. How was yours???
