Ladies, I need your help!

I’m still here. I’m not sure if you missed me or not, but I sure hope so because I missed all of you terribly! This has been a really stressful and long week [for many different reasons] so I am thrilled that it's almost the weekend!

In the meantime however, I need your help. My bff's wedding is coming up (next weekend, eek!) and I cannot decide how I want to get my hair done. I have a few ideas, but I would really love for all of you to let me know what you think! [and do not hold back. i need honesty here.]

So before I show you pictures of possible hairstyles, i figure you all need to see the dress first. I will be wearing a pretty charmeuse strapless gown with gathered neckline and drop waist with flared skirt. This dress is gorgeous!

*note: our dresses are black.

And here are the three hair possibilities that are up for consideration..

POSSIBILITY #1- Curly side pony

Edited to Add: If I go with this style, I will part my hair like Carrie Underwood in this pic. I am a fan of 'the bump' look, but not for weddings and not this big!

POSSIBILITY #2- Soft curly updo

POSSIBILITY #3- Loose half up-half down

Ideas, thoughts, suggestions??? I need brutal honesty.

Thank you, dolls.

  2. Oooh gorgeous dress!! I like the updo :)

  3. I would say either 2 or 3. But first you should make sure that the bride isn't getting her hair done like that first.

  4. I think the side curly pony tail is the best, minus the Bump-it look on top, or possibly just not so mountainous?

Whatever hair style you pick will look fabulous so don't stress too much!

  5. I think all of them are very pretty - but I really like #2 the best! It's not like a traditional updo which I really like, but if it's hot out you might appreciate having your hair off your neck and face! I think you would look beautiful no matter which style you choose =)

  7. I think I like the idea of half up, half down but maybe have the curls a little more relaxed than hers. Your hair is awesome and will look fabulous no matter how you wear it!

  11. Oh I love them all & the dresses are gorgeous! I would say that the side-curly pony tail is my favorite. Just the right amount of glam! I'm sure it will look beautiful whichever you choose.

  12. I like number two - especially if you get hot easily, this will get your hair off your neck.

  13. I'm totally digging side-ponies right now.... my husband's cousin had hers done that way for her wedding and it was gorgeous!!! #1 all the way! :)

  14. i LOVE #2 - but if the bride is having her hair up i would go with #3 so she stands out on her day.

    the dress IS gorgeous!

  16. wow! your dress is beautiful! i like either 2 or 3. if the wedding is outside, i'd do #2 for sure. :) wither one will be gorgeous though!

  17. I'm torn between #1 and #2...but I agree with Mrs. Potts that having it up may be a smart way to go to prevent over heating/that not so fun back of the neck sweat/hair stickage...if you're prone to that sort of thing :-)

  18. You have beautiful hair, so no matter which you go with, you'll look amazing!

I like #2, especially if there is any detail to the dress back.

  19. i love that dress... please do the half-up Miley Cyrus one, xxoxo

  20. any of those are gorgeous. But i would base it off the way the bride is getting her hair done. If she is wearing her's half up I would probably wear mine up or in the side pony.

  21. LOVE the dress! I vote #1- not many brides do their hair that way so you should be safe!

  22. I have to go with the side ponytail without as much volume.

  23. I like the soft curly updo because it might get warm dancing- and you will want it off your neck! But everything will look pretty on you! Also, I tagged you on something in my blog - its from yesterdays post :)

  24. I really like #2. I would wear it the opposite of the brides hair...best of luck!

  25. I like #1 but if you're going to be outside I'd go with #2 to keep you cool. Good luck!

  26. I love the soft updo! Plus, in 90% of the pictures you post of yourself you have your hair down and so I'd go for something different since it is a wedding! :) plus that updo is great now that its summer and you wont have hair sticking to your neck while you're standing up there beside your BFF!:)

  27. find out if she is wearing her hair up or down, but I would go with 1 or 2...i love the look of anything carrie underwood does, i have copied her style about 2380943 times :)

  28. I'd definitely go with #1. So pretty and elegant!

  29. #2. There's a good chance it'll be hot, making #3 impractical, and I really do not like the side pony. Too 80s and uber trendy. And you have the hair to make #2 WORK.

  30. gosh! that's tough! you seem to have great hair though! I like one and two best.

  31. I like the 1/2 up 1/2 down but I'm not sure about the bangs on the sides (Miley Cyrus' hair) I was also very surprised to see Carrie Underwood and Jessica Simpson together in a picture!

  32. Not gonna lie... i LOVE the Carrie Underwood hair style!!! It is GORGEOUS!

  33. I like the updo! So gorgeous! Hope you have a good time. :)
