Two Crazy Kids!

Happy Thursday Friday ladies! Yupp, today is our Friday. Both hubs and I are taking tomorrow off from work to extend our already long weekend into a 4-day randevouz.

And what a better way to kick off the weekend than an improptu trip to the happiest place on Earth Disney World IKEA aka a maze of fabulously cheap furniture. Weeeeeeeeeeee!
I love their designs, prices, stores, food, and whatever else they decide to create in the future. And the best part is that we have an unlimited amount of time to spend there, which you know spells d-a-n-g-e-r.

When I enter Ikea, I feel a sense of excitement that is far different than my other favorite furniture stores- mainly because when I walk in, I don't have to start calculating the total in my head. Walking through Ikea's beautiful but maze-like showroom and seeing the ridiculously low prices gives me the same excitment I got the first time I discovered F21.

Stylish, modern clothes furniture at amazingly low prices. :: heaven ::

Ikea is like buying expensive champagne on a beer budget!

Not to mention that you can pick up a couch, futon, picture of Audrey Hepburn and a cinnamon roll in the checkout lane for like $4.37. (slight exageration) It truly is amazing. Oh, and they also sell 50 cent hot dogs. (hubs' favorite part) Seriously, this place couldnt be more perfect if they tried.

Well, except for one thing-- the store is a tad bit hard to navigate. So if you are smart enough to carry your cin roll with you, you could leave small crumbs along the path and maybe, possibly found your way out. But, we don't bother with that :)

Happy Friday, everyone!

p.s. before I forget to mention, go BUCKS! We just got tickets to go to the game Saturday, so I will make sure I take lots of pictures!

  1. Totally agree, especially about the "hard to navigate" part. The first time my husband and I went in an Ikea, we felt so lost! Too bad we didn't have cinnamon bun crumbs to guide us out!

  2. I keep hearing about this store but there are none in Colorado so that sucks.

  3. so fun! it's been soo long since we've been there! we'll have to remember to get a couple cin buns when we go=)! hope you find some fun stuff!

  4. My husband and I love IKEA! Have fun and share with us what you get!

  5. Just found your IKEA!!!! i mean seriously it does not get any better than spending the entire day getting lost in that store...and I kinda prefer that you can't find your way out......then I have excuses for why I spent the WHOLE day there!

  6. Look down sweetie, they have arrows on the floor! :) lol

I heart Ikea, some days I just go there to walk around and browse, not even buying anything.

  7. Love your crumbs idea! But we don't have an IKEA so I've never been to one. So sad :-( Have fun and let us know what you take home to love and cherish!

  8. Have fun at Ikea! I have been dying to go....but making the drive in Cincy from Cleveland is just too far! Maybe someday soon :)

  9. We don't have an IKEA in SA, but there's one in Austin. I've never been, but those pics are making me want to come down with a bit of a cold right about now so I can leave work and make that drive up I-35! :)

    Have a great weekend!

  10. i went there for the first time a couple months ago and was VERY overwhelmed but in a good way haha

  11. Have fun! We still need to venture down there and check out the new ikea!!! Have fun at the game, I wish I was going.

Oh and the house is in Gahanna/Blacklick. Are we neighbors?

  12. ikea is the best place ever! Totally agreed I work right across the street from one it's deadly! And they are putting in a Ross next to our work too! More time for decorating the house!

  13. Hi! I just stumbled on your blog and thought I would say hello. It is so cute! I hope you have a great LONG weekend!!

  14. I love Ikea!

Their $1 frozen yogurt is really yummy too! :)

btw I just randomly came across your blog!

  15. Oh IKEA, how I love thee... let me count the ways.
